From Saint Louis: map Take I-64/44 East to the Carlyle Exit (Rt. 50). Take Rt. 50 east to Carlyle (Rt. 127). Take Rt. 127 North 3 miles to Eldon Hazlet State Park sign. From Chicago: map Take I-57 south to I-70 west. Take I-70 west to Greenville exit (Rt. 127) Take Rt. 127 south 18 miles to Eldon Hazlet State Park sign. From Rt. 127: map Turn east at Eldon Hazlet State Park sign. Continue 1 mile to stop sign. Turn left at stop sign and proceed 1 mile to park entrance. At park entrance veer right and take the second left. Follow signs to Carlyle Lakefront Cottages. To Cottage Office: map At park entrance veer right and follow road 1 mile to Illini Campground Store. The cottage office is located inside the store. |
